Fees and payouts

Nothing to list, nothing to buy. Sellers pay one flat selling fee plus card processing when an item sells, and that is the whole list.

What sellers pay

  • Selling fee: 5% of the item price (not including shipping). Charged only when the item sells.
  • Payment processing: 2.9% + $0.30 of the order total, including shipping. This is passed through from our payment partner.
  • Promoted listings: +4% of the item price, charged only if the item sells while promoted. Optional.

There are no listing fees, no monthly fees, no fees for offers or trades, and no fee to relist an item that didn’t sell.

What buyers pay

The item price plus the shipping the seller set. Sales tax is added where the law requires it. That’s it.

A worked example

You sell a driver for $300 with $15 shipping. The buyer pays $315.

LineHow it’s calculatedAmount
Item priceWhat you listed it for$300
Shipping collectedPaid by the buyer, passed to you$15
Selling fee5% × $300−$15
Payment processing2.9% × $315 + $0.30−$9.43
Your payoutTotal − fees$290.57

Had the listing been promoted, the bump fee would add $12 (4% of $300) and the payout would be $278.57. Shipping cost you pay the carrier comes out of the shipping you collected, so price it honestly.

When you get paid

  1. The buyer pays at checkout. Funds are held while you ship.
  2. You add tracking. When the carrier shows delivery, a 3-day inspection window starts.
  3. After the window closes with no case open, the payout is released to your connected account. Bank arrival time depends on your bank, typically 2 business days.
Trades

On a cash-plus-trade deal the selling fee is calculated on the cash portion only. See how trades work.

Refunds and fees

If an order is refunded in full under buyer protection, the selling fee is refunded to you as well. Payment processing fees are not refundable by our payment partner, so on a seller-caused refund (item not as described, not shipped) that cost stays with the seller.

Rates shown are live from our settings and may change; the rates in effect when your item sells are the ones applied.
